Description

A refreshing fruit salad featuring seasonal fall fruits that provides health benefits and vibrant flavors.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
  • 2 Pears (Bartlett or Bosc)
  • 1 cup Pomegranate seeds
  • 1 cup Grapes (red or green)
  • 4 Figs (fresh or dried)
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons Honey (or maple syrup)

Instructions

  1. Wash and prepare fruits: Core and chop apples and pears into bite-sized pieces. Slice figs if using fresh.
  2. Seed the pomegranate: Cut into quarters and tap gently to release seeds.
  3. Cut the grapes in half, if desired.
  4. Combine all fruits in a large bowl and toss gently.
  5. Add walnuts and drizzle honey over the mixture, tossing gently to coat.
  6. Chill in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute honey with agave syrup or maple syrup.
