Description

A creamy, savory dish combining fettuccine pasta, perfectly cooked sirloin steak, and luxurious garlic butter Alfredo sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or elegant gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz Fettuccine Pasta
  • 1 lb Sirloin Steak
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • Black Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh Parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta by boiling salted water in a large pot. Add fettuccine and cook until al dente, reserving one cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Season sirloin steak with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and cook the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, then let it rest.
  3. In the same skillet, melt unsalted butter, add minced garlic, and sauté for about 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Gradually whisk in grated parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust sauce thickness with reserved pasta water as needed.
  5. Add drained fettuccine to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
  6. Slice the rested steak against the grain.
  7. Plate the pasta, top with sliced steak, and garnish with fresh parsley and additional parmesan if desired.

Notes

For a healthier alternative, consider using whole wheat pasta or substituting the steak with sautéed mushrooms. Always use freshly grated cheese for best results.
