- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour (or Whole Wheat Flour)
- 1 packet Active Dry Yeast
- 3/4 cup Warm Water (about 110°F)
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil (Extra-Virgin preferred)
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the warm water and sugar. Sprinkle the active dry yeast over the top and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Stir until no dry flour remains.
- Fold in the minced garlic and fresh rosemary.
- Grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners. Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full.
- Cover the muffin tin with a clean kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm spot for about 20 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake the muffins for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for 5 minutes in the tin, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
Serve warm with butter or olive oil. Can be personalized with toppings like sun-dried tomatoes or olives.
