Description

A delightful and hydrating summer drink featuring fresh fruits and herbs, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Lemon, sliced
  • 1 Lime, sliced
  • 1 cup Berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries), prepared
  • 1/2 Cucumber, sliced
  • 10 Mint leaves
  • 10 Basil leaves
  • 4 cups Sparkling Water
  • Honey or Agave Syrup, to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash all fruits thoroughly. Slice the lemons, limes, and cucumber into thin rounds. Hull and slice strawberries.
  2. In a large pitcher, add the sliced fruits and berries. Use a muddler or wooden spoon to gently mash the fruits.
  3. Tear the mint and basil leaves to release their oils, then add them to the mixture. Stir gently.
  4. If using, drizzle honey or agave syrup over the fruit mixture and adjust to taste.
  5. Add sparkling water to the pitcher, filling to your desired level, and stir gently.
  6. Fill glasses with ice if desired and pour the drink over. Garnish with a slice of fruit or sprig of herb.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, let the mixture sit in the fridge for a few hours before serving.
