Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Mix in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips and chopped Maraschino cherries.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto a lined or greased baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
Notes
For a vegan option, replace butter with coconut oil or vegan butter and use flax eggs instead of regular eggs.
