Description

Delightful and nutritious dessert bars made with a mix of berries, oats, and a crumbly topping, perfect for guilt-free indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Mixed Berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour (or whole wheat/almon flour)
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar (or coconut sugar)
  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter (melted, or coconut oil)
  • ¼ cup Honey or Maple Syrup
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, mix the berries, honey or maple syrup, and salt; set aside.
  4. Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Drizzle melted butter over dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  6. Press half the crumble mixture into the prepared dish, spread the berry filling on top, and sprinkle remaining crumble over.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden and berries are bubbling.
  8. Let cool for 15 minutes before slicing into squares.

Notes

Serve warm topped with vanilla ice cream, Greek yogurt, or add a drizzle of honey for an elegant touch.
