Ingredients
- Steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- Pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- Garlic (fresh cloves)
- Butter
- Heavy cream
- Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper
- Parsley or basil (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large pot over medium-high heat, then sear the steak for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Lower the heat, add minced garlic, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in uncooked pasta and 4 cups of broth, bringing to a boil.
- Reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook for 10-12 minutes until pasta is al dente.
- Stir in heavy cream, remaining butter, and grated Parmesan cheese, heating through.
- Season with additional salt, pepper, or red pepper flakes as desired.
