Description

A comforting one-pot meal combining tender steak and pasta in a luscious garlic butter sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • Steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • Pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • Garlic (fresh cloves)
  • Butter
  • Heavy cream
  • Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper
  • Parsley or basil (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large pot over medium-high heat, then sear the steak for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  3. Lower the heat, add minced garlic, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in uncooked pasta and 4 cups of broth, bringing to a boil.
  5. Reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook for 10-12 minutes until pasta is al dente.
  6. Stir in heavy cream, remaining butter, and grated Parmesan cheese, heating through.
  7. Season with additional salt, pepper, or red pepper flakes as desired.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or basil.

Notes

For a healthier version, substitute heavy cream with coconut milk. Use zucchini noodles for a low-carb option.
