Description

A quick and easy chocolate snack that satisfies cravings while boosting energy and mood with health-conscious ingredients.


Ingredients

  • Dark Chocolate (70% cacao or higher)
  • Almonds (or sunflower seeds for nut-free)
  • Honey or Maple Syrup
  • Sea Salt
  • Coconut Flakes (unsweetened)

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until fully melted.
  2. Roughly chop the almonds while the chocolate is melting.
  3. Stir the chopped almonds, honey or maple syrup, and sea salt into the melted chocolate.
  4. Pour the mixture into a lined baking dish and top with coconut flakes, pressing them in.
  5. Refrigerate for about 10 minutes until set, then cut into bite-sized squares.

Notes

Store your chocolate squares in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. For longer storage, freeze them wrapped in parchment paper.
