Ingredients
- Dark Chocolate (70% cacao or higher)
- Almonds (or sunflower seeds for nut-free)
- Honey or Maple Syrup
- Sea Salt
- Coconut Flakes (unsweetened)
Instructions
- Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until fully melted.
- Roughly chop the almonds while the chocolate is melting.
- Stir the chopped almonds, honey or maple syrup, and sea salt into the melted chocolate.
- Pour the mixture into a lined baking dish and top with coconut flakes, pressing them in.
- Refrigerate for about 10 minutes until set, then cut into bite-sized squares.
Notes
Store your chocolate squares in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. For longer storage, freeze them wrapped in parchment paper.
